Description: Tourist corridor established for Bay County unincorporated areas defined by Chapter 31 of the Bay County FL, LDR.The purpose of which is to improve the appearance of Designated Tourist Corridors identified in Sectoin 4.10.1 of the Bay County Comprehensive Plan. Section 3102 of the LDR establishes additional land development reguations for all new development, redevelopment, and utilties lying within 200 feet of the nearest right of way of the following described Designated Tourist Corridors.1. State Road 79 from the center of the Intercoastal Waterway south to the County limits of the City of Panama City, Beach.2. Those portions of US 98 and 98A located in the unicorporated area outside of the City of Panama City Beach, from the Hathaway bridge to Phillip's Inlet bridge, and3. County Road 3031 (Thomas Drive) and County Road 392 (Thomas Drive) from County Road 3031 to Joan Ave.
